My landlord Richard's site is still down so I'm lending him space again for his latest song against Donald Trump. I have heard him play the tune many times for the neighbours from the Peggy Lee songbook. It's one of their favourites, judging by the response it gets on our walls and ceiling. I told him some words don't seem to fit but he just said "Don't stress. That's jazz." Anyway, here it is.
He’s A Trump
Donald Trump
He’s a weird one
Giant ego, little brain,
Donald Trump:
Working bigly to
Make America hate again.
Donald Trump
He’s a scammer
Tells a new lie every day
Donald Trump
Deserves the slammer
But the Supreme Court has let him get away.
You can never tell what he’ll say next
His mouth is a big mess of trouble
He’ll say something really bad
Then tomorrow make it double.
Donald Trump
Midnight rambler
Never knows he’s gone too far
Donald Trump
Rotten gambler:
Would you really let him drive your car?
Original words and music by Peggy Lee and Sonny Burke from Lady And The Tramp 1952
